FRIDAY NIGHTS UPTOWN JUNE 15, 2007 ON COURT STREET (BETWEEN 5TH & 6TH STREETS) RIB-OFF COMPETITION click for .pdf flyer CALLING ALL COOKS! Residents are invited to participate in a Rib-Off competition! This contest was initiated between restaurants two years ago with rousing success. This year the competition will be expanded to include both commercial and individual categories. Any resident who wishes to individually participate in this competition on June 15 is asked to prepare 4 plates/containers of your best ribs for the judges. The ribs should be separated into individual pieces (not whole connected slab) so the judges can just pick up one rib at a time to taste. These plates/containers are to be delivered to the band tent at 6:30 that evening. There will be a table and a volunteer there to receive you. The judges will taste and select their winner between 6:30-7:00 p.m and the winner will be announced at 7:00p.m. during the band’s first break.
